#HelloYellow for Mental Health Day 2020
Lockdown has been having a devastating effect on everyone’s mental health. It has been very hard, but we can show to each other that we are not alone.
Even though we still can’t carry on with our normal lives and give someone a hug if they needs it due to social distancing rules, but we can support each other in other ways:
* Keeping in contact
* giving a compliment
* noticing each other’s great work and most importantly raising awareness of Mental Health.
Young people’s wellbeing is incredibly important to The Autism project and students and staff took part in fundraising for #HelloYellow to support young people’s mental health on World Mental Health Day 9th of October 2020.
TAP students and staff took part by wearing yellow, discussing about coping mechanisms when feeling low, sharing support contacts if having mental health crisis and donating to the charity.
All CareTrade staff are trained Mental Health First Aiders and support students, clients and staff in any way we can to support everyone’s mental health.
