Schoolhouse Café Reopening at Weekends from the 17th October

Being able to access the work experience can often be the key to the door of getting a job. This is especially accurate for young autistic people. The School House Café gives young autistic people the chance to get work experience in an environment that is a real work environment, yet also provides specialized support and encouragement to gain skills and helps to build confidence.

We are thrilled to announce that our café traineeship will restart on the weekends from 17th of October. We would love to welcome our regulars and new customers alike so please come and visit us on Saturdays and Sundays at School Hose Café Bermondsey from 10:00am – 3:00pm. 11 Monnow Road, London SE1 5RN

There are about 332,600 people of working age in the UK with an autism spectrum condition(ASC), yet only 15% are in full-time employment.

At CareTrade we work hard to provide  job seeker with the right skills to move into employment and a traineeship at the café gives them that opportunity and you get to have some great coffee and delicious cakes. with thanks to Spa School for their support and space to host the café.
