School House Café is Now Open at Weekends

With the 17th of October date set, and after weeks spent on planning and adapting to the new measures, we have finally restarted our School House Café traineeship.

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome our students and customers back at the café and do what we know best – work on our hospitality and employment skills.

The goal of the café has always been about providing on the job training to  autistic people , but also serving incredible food that is healthy and sustainable. From October, we have officially become a fully vegetarian / vegan café, and we are proud to promote healthy eating habits not only among our students, but also our regular and new customers.

During our supported traineeship students are also thought a range of subjects including customer service, health and safety at work, employee responsibilities to improve their employability skills and help them to achieve their full potential and prepare them for work.

There are over 700,000 autistic people in the UK, Offering supported traineeship to young autistic adults, increases their confidence and helps us to promote diversity, by helping to reinforce  forward thinking and innovation

We would like to say a big thank you to our local community for all the support and kindness. We look forward to welcome you again.
